Home secretary GK Pillai has said that ULFA Leader Arbind Rajkhova and its military operations commander Raj Barua would have to face judicial process as there are court cases pending against them in India.

It is learnt that the government would not press for their trial in heinous cases pending against them.

Home Secretary also said that the talks with banned militant outfit would take place in due course of time.

Rajkhova and Barua were spotted near Bangla border in Meghalaya and were challenged by Border Security Force personnel. A Senior BSF official told Indian media that at that time they offered to surrender and were taken into custody.

Subsequently they were taken to Gauhati and arrested.
