India has strongly resisted the attempts by some countries to do away with Kyoto Protocol on climate change. Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh made it clear to the world leaders that the Copenhagen summit must come out with an agreement that is comprehensive, balanced and the burden to cut the emissions must be shared equitably by all the countries.
