Tata Motors launches Jaguar Land Rover brands in India
The country's leading automaker Tata Motors launched its prestigious car brands Jaguar and Land Rover in India on Sunday. Tatas had acquired these two brands from the beleaguered US car maker Ford.
Announcing the launch, Tata group Chief Ratan Tata told reporters in Mumbai that the two brands will give Indian public an opportunity to experience the pleasure of driving the superior technology. Tata Motors completed the acquisition of the two British marquee car brands last year for 2.3 billion dollars.
