Monthly cable bill should be limited to Rs. 100: TRAI
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the broadcasting regulator of India plans to cap monthly cable charge at 100 rupees for a minimum of 30 free-to-air channels.

The telecom regulator said this on Wednesday in an affidavit filed in Supreme Court in Delhi.

TRAI proposes to fix cable charge at 200 rupees per month for a basic package with up to 20 pay channels.

TRAI proposes ceiling on cable charge at 250 rupees per month for a basic package with more than 20 pay channels.
