Defence Minister AK Antony
Government on Wednesday reiterated that there is no change of position on the India-China Line of Actual Control.
Defence Minister AK Antony said that there is a difference of perception on both the sides. On increased infiltration on LoC in Jammu and Kashmir he said that violence has substantially come down in the State compared to last year.
Earlier, addressing a defence conference, Mr. Antony said that India needs a strong defence industrial base and the government is going step by step to achieve this goal.
He said that at present India sources 70 per cent of its defence equipments from foreign sources.
