Stapled visas issued by China to Indian citizens declared invalid

The External Affairs Ministry has made it clear that people planning to travel to China on a visa statpled to their passport will not be allowed to leave the country.

External Affairs Ministry issued an advisory to all Indian citizens in this regard asking them to make sure before making any travel arrangements to ensure that visa issued to them by Chinese embassy in India is affixed on their passports.

The ministry has made it plain and simple if this is not the case and their visas are being stapled they will not be allowed to leave the country.

The ministry said that the advisory has been issued so that people travelling to china are not put to inconvenience or suffer any financial loss.
