|
Steel Authority of India (SAIL) Thursday reported a 33.9 percent dip in net profit for the quarter ended December 2010 at Rs 1,107.47 crore.
The company had recorded Rs 1675.55 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it said in a release.
The gross sales turnover of the company in the reporting quarter, however, were up by 17.5 percent to Rs 12,276.81 crore over the corresponding period last year.
SAIL sold 3.25 million tonnes steel in Q3 FY'11, a growth of 10.7 percent over Q3 FY'10.
