SV Narasimhan given additional charge of Chairman IndianOil

Narasimhan would replace BM Bansal
Government of India has appointed Mr. SV Narsimhan as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation with effect from February 01, 2011 for a period of three months on ad hoc basis.
Mr. Narasimhan has been working with IndianOil as Director (Finance) and he would replace Mr. BM Bansal.
An official release issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas stated, "The Competent Authority has approved the proposal for entrusting additional charge of the post of Chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to Mr. S.V. Narasimhan, Director (Finance), IOCL, on ad hoc basis, for a period of three months, with effect from 01.02.2011 or till a regular incumbent is appointed, or until further orders, which ever event occur at the earliest."
