Finally a good news for the scores of Railway passengers that don't yet have access to online reservation and ticket booking. Indian Railway will set up 5,000 more passenger reservation terminals in the country apart from the 7,500 odd terminals that it already has.

Junior Railway Minister E Ahmed said this in a function in Ernakulam while inaugurating Ernakulam-Delhi Duranto Express.

Mr Ahmed said Railways require about one lakh crore rupees to complete various projects undertaken by the ministry.

Referring to a demand for setting up a new Railway Station at Nedumbassery, near the Cochin International Airport he said that the Railways are willing to take up the work provided the airport company also invested 15 crore rupees in the project.
