He said that but the recent terror attacks in Pakistan and Afghanistan have thrust South Asia into a state of permanent conflict and instability. Mr. Antony was speaking in a seminar in New Delhi on Monday.

Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor said that the possibility of Nuclear war in the region can not be ruled out. General Kapoor said that South Asian region has become equally unstable and place of conflict as West Asia.
