More than 85 million electorates would have a choice to exercise their democratic right on Tuesday as three states Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal pradesh go to poll.

Maharashtra has 288 assembly seats for which 3,559 candidates are in the fray, including 211 women. The state's more than seven crore fifty eight lakh voters have a chance to decide the fate of these candidates on Tuesday.
However, the bold and outrageous attack by the banned CPI (Maoist) on a police party in Gadhchiroli on Thursday that left 17 police men dead has further increased the possibility of poll violence in the naxal infested area on the polling day.
In Arunachal Pradesh polling will be done for 57 seats out of the total 60 seats. 3 candidates have been declared elected uncontested. For the rest 57 seats 154 candidates are in the fray including 8 women. The state's more than seven and a half lakh electorates would have a choice to elect the new assembly on Tuesday.
