Pak court declares Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi as the 'Mastemind' of 26/11 Mumbai attack

A Pakistani anti-terror court on Wednesday framed charges against Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and seven other terrorists belonging to the banned Pakistani terror organization Lashkar-a-Taiyyaba. Lakhavi was the operational commander of Lashkar.
The six other accused are Zarar Shah, Abu al-Qama, Hamad Amin Sadiq, Shahid Jamil Riaz, Jamil Ahmed and Younas Anjum
The court also declared 16 people as 'proclaimed offenders' in this case including the loan surviving terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab.
Sources say that the crew members of the two boats used by the Mumbai attackers to reach India is also included in the list of 16 absconders.
Judge Malik Muhammad Akram Awan, who is conducting the trial at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi for security reasons, formally charged the seven suspects.
All the seven accused protested when charges against them were read out and pleaded 'Not Guilty'.
The judge also rejected bail plea of some of the accused.
The indictment of the seven suspects by the Pakistani court came on the eve of the first anniversary of the attacks that had left 163 people dead including 28 foreigners.
