PNB has forged a tie up with two leading brokerage houses - SMC and NSBL to provide State-of-the-art online trading services to its customers.

Dr. K.C. Chakrabarty, CMD, Punjab National Bank, said that the bank has been at forefront in use of advanced technology to deliver new and newer services to its customers and channel partners. Launch of online trading is one more step in this direction.

Now the bank would offer a unique 3-in-1 account – including savings account, Demat & Trading Account in one. Now the bank’s customers will have the option of online trading through the bank’s website www.pnbindia.com and can invest in equities, derivatives, commodities, IPOs and MFs using the platform provided by SMC and NSBL.

This 3-in-1 product is being made available through advanced technical integration between the PNB's Savings & Demat accounts with the SMC's & NSBL's Online Trading platform.

The funds and securities movement between the bank & trading portal would take place on real time basis and no extra blockage of funds or securities will happen during trading. It would eliminate psychological reservation of blocking of funds or shares.
