Proactive anti corruption measures
Punjab National Bank, being 2nd largest Commercial Bank has initiated lot of activities to promote proactive, preventive and participative vigilance.
The bank also celebrated the Anti Corruption Day on 9th December, which is designated as International Anti Corruption Day by the United Nations, with a view to fighting the menace of corruption collectively and eradicating the same through vigil and alertness throughout the length & breadth of the country.
Branches were visited, Seminars were organised to educate the staff of the bank during the week. Main function was held at Head Office of PNB at New Delhi presided over by Chief Vigilance Officer Shiv Kumar Gupta, who advocated for educating the staff against the evil effects of corruption.
