CBI conducting inquiry on SC's orders: Manmohan Singh
The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has on Monday rejected BJP charge of government misusing CBI. Manmohan Singh said that CBI probe into former Gujarat Minister Amit Shah's role in the Sohrabuddin case is on a Supreme Court directive and the Centre has no role to play in it.

He said that the BJP allegations in this regard are not true. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that the Parliament will function smoothly.

Appealing to the Opposition not to disrupt the Parliament, Dr. Singh said the Government is ready for discussion on any issue.
