No guarantee that Pakistan can stop the repeat of 26/11 kind of attack on India: Pakistan

Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani's remark invoked a sharp response from India. India said that Pakistan can not escape responsibility for terror attacks on India emanating from its soil.
Pakistani Prime Minister has observed that his country cannot guarantee that there will not be a repeat of the Mumbai like terror attacks.
Pakistani Media reported Mr. Gilani as having said that to visiting US Defence Minister Mr. Robert Gates that Pakistan is everyday facing Mumbai kind of attacks and is not able to protect its own citizens.
Apparently Mr. Gilani told the American Leader that in such a situation how can Pakistan guarantee that it can prevent a terror attack on India.
US Defence Secretary Mr. Robert Gates has observed that India's patience will not be unlimited in the case of another 26/11 kind of attack on it.
Mr. Gilani was reacting to Mr. Gates comments made in New Delhi on Thursday.

However, his statement has invoked sharp response from India's External Affairs Ministry.
The official spokesman of the India's foreign ministry said in a statement that by making such statements, Pakistan cannot absolve itself of its responsibility.
It further said that India has regularly been asking Pakistan to take firm action against the persons responsible for 26/11 attack and dismantle the terror infrastructure in that country.
