MNIK gets tremendous response
Viewers throng the multiplexes across the country on the opening day of Shahrukh-Kajol starer film My Name is Khan.
Even in Mumbai people defied Shivsena’s protest to watch the movie. The film was released in a limited manner in Mumbai in 35 Cinema halls and multiplexes as against 63 tak.
Shivsena continued to protest the release of film across the state. Even in Mumbai Shivsena workers pelted stones K-Star mall in Chembur, where the film was screened.
However, police baton charged and chased them away.
Police also pushed away Shivsena supporters from Fun Republic who were trying to barge in the talkies.
Reports indicate that the film received tremendous response from viewers in cities like Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and several other cities.
An official of PVR cinema told the media that they have got full booking for the shows till Sunday.
