Strike of public sector telcom company MTNL's 8,000 employees has badly affected the communication services in the capital Delhi on Tuesday. MTNL employees are on strike since Monday.
The agitating employees have rejected the management's offer of a pay revision with 5 per cent fitment benefit. The Management of MTNL on the other hand says that due to fall in the revenues they are not able to meet all the demands of the employees.
Even though the talks between management and striking employees are on the union’s general secretary V K Tomar has said that the non-cooperation will continue.
