Lalu will be CM candidate: Paswan
Rashtriya Janta Dal and Lok Janshakti Party will jointly fight the coming assembly elections in Bihar. Both the parties have decided to project the RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav as the Chief Ministerial candidate whereas the Bihar Lok Janshakti Party Chief Pashupati Kumar Paras is being projected as a candidate for the post of Deputy Chief Minister.

Addressing a joint press conference in New Delhi on Monday, the RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan announced that in the 243 seat Bihar Assembly, RJD will fight on 168 seats and Janshakti Party will field 75 candidates.

Replying to a question, both the leaders said that in order to prevent the communal parties from coming to power, they have kept their options open for further seat sharing with any like minded parties.
