Mr. Naidu sent to Judicial custody till July 26
The judicial custody of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and 74 supporters, arrested by Maharashtra Police, was extended till July 26 after they stuck to their stand and refused to accept bail.
The Nanded magistrate conducted a fresh hearing upon completion of their two-day judicial remand on Monday. Judicial Magistrate Deepak Matha conducted the proceedings in the building premises in Dharmabad where Naidu and other TDP leaders are lodged.
After an emergency meeting with available Ministers in Hyderabad, Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has appealed to the TDP leaders to end the impasse and take part in the all party delegation to be taken to the Prime Minister on the 23rd of this month to protect the interests of the state.
Mr. Rasaiahn requested the TDP leaders to cooperate by bringing amicable atmosphere to resolve the Babli issue.
