Jaswant's expulsion was painful but necessary: Advani
First time breaking his silence over the issue of expulsion of seniour BJP leader Jaswant Singh Lal Krishna Advani said it was painful but necessary decision.
He pointed out that what Mr. Jaswant Singh wrote is against the basic ideology of the party. Mr. Advani also said that Patel's task of unifying more than 700 odd princely states was a super human effort and a spectacular achievement and Mr. Jaswant Singh tried to denigrate Patel.
Mr Advani also conceded that fissures and bickering in the party has sent wrong signals among party supporters and masses.
