The president reiterates Iran as a nuclear state
On the occasion to celebrate the anniversary of foundation of The Islami Republic in 1979, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared the country as a Nuclear State.
The president has announced this thing on earlier occasions as well.
He claimed that Iran has produced its first batch of highly enriched Uranium.
He thundered that the country will not be bullied by western powers into curtailing its nuclear programs.
His announcement came a day after the US imposed new sanctions on the country.
It was not clear how much enriched material had actually been produced just two days after the process was announced to have started.
Highly enriched Uranium is being used in nuclear power plants. However, it can be used as weapon pallets in a nuclear weapon if it is enriched beyond ninety per cent.
