Indian authorities announce awards on absconding Pakistani terrorists

Delhi Police has announced Rs. Fifty thousand for providing information on each of these three absconding Pakistani terrorists.

Abdul Razzak, Rafaket Ali and Mohammad Saddique had managed to escape from New Delhi area when they were returning from Guru Teg Bahadur Eye hospital with security officials. They had been kept at Sewa Dham camp near Lalpur in Delhi pending their deportation to Pakistan.

Delhi Police will conduct an inquiry in the case. DCP Northwest district DP Dwivedi would conduct the inquiry. He will go into all the aspects of the lapse and suggest measures to improve the security arrangements in such cases.

Delhi Police has filed a case in this regards at Kotwali police station but later the case was transferred to Special Cell of Delhi police.

The three Pakistanis were arrested in 2000 for planting a bomb near the Delhi airport. They have also been found guilty for a bomb attack near Red Fort in old Delhi area.

Two of them are from Lahore area and one is from Sialkot in Pakistan.

An alert has been sounded across the country to nab the absconding terrorists.
