Indian Oil makes booking of Indane gas more simple and faster

Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has launched a newly enhanced Automated Unified System (AUS) of refill booking for the convenience of Indane LPG cooking gas customers in Delhi. This multimodal system, designed to make refill booking faster, simpler and more efficient, enables Indane customers to book for their LPG refills round-the-clock through three modes - IVRS (Integrated Voice Response System), SMS or the internet.
Customers opting to book through the IVRS system have to dial 9911554411 from their land-line/mobile phone and follow the simple steps as guided by the voice response. First-time users have to register their phone number for future reference. Subsequent bookings can be made from the registered phone number, as also for registering complaints or for ascertaining the status of the previous booking. The system will provide a reference number every time a refill is booked.
Indane customers using SMS facility for refill booking must send an SMS message IOC to 9911554411 for the first time. For subsequent bookings, customers can simply SMS IOC to the same number.
For refill booking through the Internet, Indane customers can log on to http://www.indane.co.in/ and follow the instructions. They can also walk into the distributor's premises and book for a refill through the fixed wireless phone.
The current modes of Indane refill booking in Delhi through TOMOGAS/SMS/USSD shall be completely replaced with the new system from the midnight of 15th March, 2011. New refill bookings have to be essentially made only through the AUS system thereafter.
