India would test fire Nuclear Capable Agni-II missile on Monday

India would test it's much awaited surface to surface Intermediate Range Ballastic Missile Agni-II on Monday. The Missile would be fired from Wheeler Island off the Orissa coast tonight.
This is the first time that any Indian missile would go through user trial during the night.
The Agni-II Missile has a range of in access of 2,000 kilometers and in this test it would carry a payload of about 1,000 kilograms.
The test will be conducted by the Indian Army anytime between 8.15 to 9 pm from launch pad number 4 of the Island.
Agni-II has been configured to be launched from rail and road mobile launchers. The aim of this test firing in the night is to test the missile in war like scenario. Hundreds of senior army officials and scientists are camping at the test range.
