New Delhi will put forward demand for reforms in the international financial architecture at the forthcoming G-20 summit in the US. It will also plead for a uniform and transparent mechanism to ensure each country provides for exact information on its economic situation.

Pranab Mukherjee is leaving later next week to attend the Finance Ministers' meeting ahead of the summit being held in the last week of September. Mr. Mukherjee said, the issue of restoring development assistance by the developed countries to the underdeveloped ones will also be taken up in the summit meeting.
