India-US call upon international community to jointly fight terror
India and the US have called upon the International community to jointly fight terrorism. These views were expressed during a meeting between the visiting US National Security Advisor General James Jones and the Defence Minister Mr. A.K. Antony in New Delhi.
The two leaders expressed satisfaction at the progress in various aspects of bilateral relations. The US National Security Advisor said that Washington is eager to consolidate its relations with New Delhi in all spheres. Terming India as an emerging global power, General Jones said the Indo-US partnership will be crucial to regional and global peace and stability.
General Jones also called upon Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.
