India's number one management institute IIM-A (Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad) has increased fees for its PGPM (Post Graduate Programme in Management) for the next academic year.
Institute director Samir Baura said in Ahmedabad that the there would be a hike of 50,000 rupees from the year 2010-11, taking the fee to six lakhs rupees per annum. Mr.Baura said after a board meeting that the batch of
For the 2009-11 PGPM program students would have to a maximum of 12.5 lakhs rupees for the course. However, the fee waiver scheme which started last year will continue for the next year, he said.
