Govt. will consult all before moving the bill in LS: Pranab
Leader of the house Pranab Mukherjee said on Thursday that the government will consult all the parties before tabling the bill in the lower house.

He made this announcement in the Lok Sabha after having hectic consultations with the three main opponents of the bill – Lalu, Mulayam and Sharad Yadav.

This discussion, in a way, ended four day stand off between the supporters and opponents of the bill and allowed smooth functioning of the Parliament.

Pranab Mukherjee made a statement assuring members that all sections will be consulted before women's reservation Bill is moved in the house.

He expressed hope it would assuage the feelings of the members leading to restoration of normal business.
