Home Minister P. Chidambaram has said on Tuesday that the government will be able to exert full control over Naxal infested areas in two-three years time. He was speaking at India Economic Summit in New Delhi.

He said that it is wrong to think that India is more vulnerable and asserted that it has the capacity to thwart any attack.

The Home Minister said that the states are being involved in counter-insurgency measures against Naxals and significant successes have been achieved. He said coordinated action is being taken by the affected states.
