NTPC bags four awards at India Power Awards 2011

Power Management Institute (PMI) the training arm of NTPC has been conferred 'India Power Awards 2011' on 24th Nov., 2011 by Council of Power Utilities (CPU), New Delhi for commendable work done in imparting training to power engineers.

The honour was bestowed on PMI by Dr. C Rangarajan, Chairman Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and former Governor of Andhra Pradesh during Indian Power Series Conference. CPU is an independent body working for the power sector in association with many international and national power utilities and bodies and manufacturing companies.

NTPC also won the awards in Largest Thermal Power Developers Receiver category the award was received by Pankaj Bhartiya, GM (CenPEEP); Super Critical Boiler category received by K.S. Rao, GM, Sipat; and for Efficiency and Capacity Improvement, R&M of Thermal Plants received by N.K. Srivastava, GM (R&M).
