After a hung assembly the formation of a new government in the state is delayed as it was expected. All the three big parties have dug in their heels and not in a mood to give concessions over the post of Chief Minister.
The head of JMM Shibu Soren has openly said that given the fractured mandate in the state his party should be invited to form the government.
He said that winning 18 seats in the state without any alliance is the proof of his popularity.
Shibu Soren told the reporters, “There is no question of making any compromise on the post of Chief Ministership.”
However, BJP and Congress are in no mood to oblige him this time.
However, BJP has said that the party is not in race to form the government. BJP leader Arjun Munda has said that the party would follow wait and watch policy.
Both the national parties Congress and BJP spent the Thursday on waiting and preparing their strategies. It appears both the parties are waiting the other to make a move first and then respond.
However, seniour Congress leader Digvijay Singh has claimed that JMM is still a part of UPA.
