DK JAIN takes over as the new Director (Technical) of NTPC

Mr Jain took over as Director (Technical) of NTPC
Public sector power generation utility - National Thermal Power Corporation has said in a statement that DK Jain has taken over as Director (Technical) of the company on Thursday.

A Mechanical Engineer from IIT, Kharagpur, Mr. Jain was heading the Engineering Division of NTPC as Executive Director (Engineering) involved in Engineering of thermal & hydro power projects from concept to commissioning, coal mining and even in Renovation & Modernization of thermal projects.

Earlier, he was Managing Director NTPC-Alstom Power Services Limited guiding the overall business portfolio of the company in the field of Renovation & Modernization of Thermal Power Stations.

The NTPC said in a statement, "In a career spanning more than 32 years in the Power Sector, Mr. Jain has handled various other assignments in CEA and NTPC in Engineering of power projects. He was head of project execution team for (2x500MW) units at NTPC Vindhyachal and also R&M Engineering at NTPC Corporate Centre."
