Continental Airlines apologises to former Prez Kalam over frisking issue
The Continental Airlines, apologised to former President A P J Abdul Kalam on Wednesday for frisking him at the international airport in New Delhi.
The US Airline said in its apology that it did not intend to offend the former President or the sentiments of the people of the country.
A statement issued by the Continental Airlines said it had tendered a formal apology to Dr Kalam and sincerely hope Dr. Kalam will fly with the airline again. The Airline had yesterday said there could be no exception to security frisking of its passengers.
The frisking of former President A.P.J Abdul Kalam had led to an uproar in the country.
