Bill for women's reservation in jobs in this session of Parliament
The government will bring in a bill providing reservation for women in government jobs in the coming parliament session, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has said on Sunday. He was addressing a meeting in his constituency Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Chidambaram also said that he was confident the bill for 33 per cent reservation for women in Parliament and Assemblies would be passed.
