BSP wins 3 out of 4 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh by elections
Ruling Bhahujan Samaj Party has won three out of four seats in the assembly by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, while Rashtriya Lok Dal has retained its Morna seat. From Muradabad West, BSP candidate Balram Singh has defeated his nearest Congress rival Saulat Ali by margin of more than 17,000 votes.
In Malihabad Reserved constituency, BSP nominee Dr. Siddharth Shankar defeated his nearest Rashtrawadi Communist party candidate Koushal Kishore by margin of more than 26,000 votes.
In Bidhuna, BSP nominee Mahesh Chandra has defeated his nearest SP candidate Geeta alias Chandra Prabha by a margin of more than 27,000 votes. BSP has snatched two seats from Samajwadi party and one from BJP. In Morna, Ajit Singh led Rashtriya Lok Dal has retained the by defeating BSP candidate Noor Salim Rana by margin of more than 4000 votes.
