Striking engineers of public sector company BSNL has decided to call off their strike on Sunday. Nearly 10,000 engineers, on deputation with BSNL, were on strike demanding absorption in the company.
The decision to this effect was taken by the representatives of striking engineers after a meeting with telecom minister A. raja who assured them to resolve their demands fairly.
General Secretary of All India Graduate Engineers Telcom Officer, R.P Sahu said that representatives of the association met the Minister yesterday and apprised him of the demands.
