BJP to move the cut motion alone: Joshi
Senior BJP leader Murli Monohar Joshi said on Thursday that the party was not averse to floor coordination with CPM or other opposition parties in Parliament, but it is prepared to move the cut motion on its own.
He said in a press conference, "As the principal opposition party, we will move our own cut motions against the union budget. They (CPM) may move separate cut motions."
In response to a question regarding accepting the support of left parties over the issue Murli Manohar Joshi said, "BJP does not believe in political untouchability.
"Anyone can come with us. SP, BSP, even the Left stood with us to protest the fuel price hike, he said"
However, he said that the CPI-M does not have much strength now. Those days are gone.
