Union health ministry has informed that 7 more deaths have been reported from various parts of country due to H1N1 influenza on Sunday.
Ministry said in a statement that four Swine flu patient died in Maharashtra. One patient each died in Mumbai and Pune while two flu patients died in Thane.
The highest five deaths are reported from Gujarat one each from Ahmedaba, Vadodara and Rajkot and two flu patients died of Flu in Surat.
Government said that there are suspected Swine flu deaths are reported from Karnataka, the laboratory reports of which are awaited.
Health Ministry said that till September 13, 2009 samples from 28851 persons have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 and 6139 (21.2%) of them have been found positive.
Government said that out of 160 cases reported during the day, one is an imported case and the rest are indigenous.
