20 per cent samples tested for H1N1 found positive
The union health ministry has said in a statement that total 26037 persons have been so far tested for Influenza H1N1 in government and private laboratories across the country. And of the total 26037 samples 5221 samples have been found positive. This is 20 per cent confirmation rate.
One surprising fact is also revealed that screening at international airports of the country has resulted in detection of 1042 cases or roughly 19 per cent of the total confirmed cases in the country rest are indigenous cases.
