ATS arrested 2 suspected terrorists from Mumbai
Maharastra ATS claimed that it has arrested two people for allegedly plotting to attack BARC center and Oil installations in Mumbai on Saturday night.
ATS official told local media that these people were plotting to blow up oil tanks, atomic installations and a crowded cloth market and a shopping mall.
According to reports, a court in Mumbai sent these people to police custody till March 18.
Police claim that by arresting these people it has foiled a major attack on the city.
ATS arrested Abdul Latif from Bandra and Riyaz Ali from Dahisar late Saturday night.
ATS Chief KP Raghuvanshi told local media that Atif and Riyaz were plotting to blow up ONGC tanks in Bandra, Thakkar Mall in Borivali and Mangaldas market in South Mumbai.
He claimed that these people have links with Pakistan based terror outfits.
