In a strong rebuttal, India said the terrorists designated by the UN continued to roam Pakistan’s streets freely and operate with State support.
Giving it back to Pakistan for raking up the Human rights issue, E Gambheer, First Secretary in the Permanent Mission of India to the UN said “the worst violation of human rights is terrorism.”
In yet another blow to Pakistan’s approach on Kashmir, UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon rejected it’s repeated pleas to the UN to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
In an slap on the face for Pak PM Nawaz Sharif Ban Ki-moon has told Sharif that Pakistan and India should address their outstanding issues, including Kashmir, through “dialogue”.
Ban’s remarks came as Sharif handed over a dossier on Kashmir to him. With this Ban Ki Moon has validated India’s stand on the matter, it is evident that Pakistan stands isolated by the international community because of its double speak on terrorism.
Hitting out at Pakistan at UNGA Afghanistan Vice-President Sarwar Danesh said several terror attacks in Afghanistan were plotted on Pakistan soil.
