24×7 call centre for Indians working abroad soon: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India has the capacity to provide the global workforce to the world in coming days.

Addressing the Indian community in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, he said India was seen as the only bright spot in the world due to its strong workforce and a vibrant economy.

The Prime Minister is in Saudi Arabia on a two day state visit. He reached Saudi Arabia on Saturday following a visit to Belgium and United States where he participated in 9th India-EU summit and Nuclear Security Summit.

Prime Minister Modi appreciated Indian workers for their hard work that not only earned money for the country but also raised its stature in the world.

Prime Minister announced setting up of two Resource Centres for Indian workers in Riyadh and Jeddah .

He also announced to set up 24x 7 call center for Indian workers engaged in other countries in various languages.

He urged the workers to utilise Madad portal (Help Portal), the new Grievances Management System of Ministry of External Affairs for grievances pertaining to Consular Services offered by Indian Missions abroad.

He said that India was being seen as a bright spot on global economy.

He appreciated the role played by Union External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and officials of ministry of external affairs in extending help to Indians staying abroad.

Addressing the Indian community , he said the entire world is focusing on India now. He stressed on Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas with democratic values.

He said that with political stability, development agenda and with a workforce of eight million of below 35 years of age , India is being seen as a shining star while the world is going through economic crisis.
